“I specialize in creating unique, handcrafted metalwork and strive to produce pieces that are meaningful to my clients, custom tailored to their tastes as well as sensitive to the setting.
My training as a traditional, classical blacksmith introduced me to hot-forging, which allows for nearly limitless expression in form—from traditional and classical shapes to more sculptural and artistic ones.
I design much of my work but usually develop ideas from photos and examples provided by clients. I also routinely collaborate with architects and interior designers. My deep knowledge of historical as well as contemporary examples in metalwork allows for a full investigation of what’s possible.
That investigation, however, can often lead to a very simple design. But a simple design executed with intention and hand-forged processes lends itself to a pleasing tactile experience as well as a very personal one.
